THE BARON'S

ROCHESTER-KENT-UK.

The Barons played clubs and functions throughout England during the sixties seventies and eighties. The band was founded by Owen, Glen, Roger. Rick and John joined shortly after. The Band made several personnel changes later with Moe in picture two and Ray Andrews drummer. Being so young Rick's dad, Harold Cooper became driver and then manager of the band. Harold was a shrewd business man and got the band gigs with such names as, The Hollies, The Yardbirds, Van Morrison, The Zombies, The Small Faces and The Barronknights. I recall the Hollies being late and therefore using all our equipment. I should have had Graham Nash sign my guitar. He later went on to join Crosby Stills Nash and Young.
